Patrick Racine is a Professional Engineer in Ontario and a certified energy manager with a degree in mechanical engineering from McGill University. He has over 20 years’ experience in the design and implementation of water solutions for clients across North America, and has been involved in advancing best practices for Legionella risk mitigation for over a decade. Patrick is the Chair of ASHRAE Water Treatment Committee TC3.6, and a member of ASHRAE SSPC 188. He coauthored ASHRAE’s Water Treatment Handbook and ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 188, Legionellosis: Risk Management for Building Water Systems. He is the past chair of the Canadian Boiler Society and vice-chair of the American Boiler Manufacturer's Association Water Treatment Committee. Patrick is a recognized speaker and author on water treatment, water scarcity and Legionella prevention.
