Larry F. Rubin has more than 35 years’ experience in plant operations and building maintenance, 25 of these in a health care setting. Larry is the Senior Director of Facilities Management at Cleveland Clinic Florida. He is also an Intermittent Life Safety Code Surveyor for The Joint Commission and an Instructor for Joint Commission Resources, Environment of Care – Base Camp. He is a certified plant engineer, certified energy manager, certified health care safety professional, certified health care facility manager and certified health care constructor. Larry is a long-time member of ASHE, a past president of NOSHE and an active member of the Florida Healthcare Engineering Association. He holds a master’s degree in education administration from the University of Massachusetts.
