Mechanical Engineer, Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC)
Jeff Moffat is a mechanical engineer at Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) where he leads the development, implementation and quality monitoring of the department’s Legionella management program, which includes the PSPC standard MD 15161: Control of Legionella in Mechanical Systems and its associated communications protocol. He has 15 years of experience working in private sector consulting engineering and real property policy development for the Canadian federal government. He is a member of the federal interdepartmental working group on Legionella and the Canadian Commission on Building and Fire Codes’ task group on Legionella. He holds a degree in building engineering from Concordia University and is a Professional Engineer in Ontario.
