Akihiro Kondo is an advisor of Hiyoshi Corporation, Japan, and has been focusing on the development of Legionella disinfection technology for the last four years. Last year, he developed an effective sterilization method using iron ions. In addition, the data on metagenome analysis of bathtub water from research in collaboration with Associate Professor Abe of Niigata University attracts attention from various fields. Prior to this position, he was a professor at the Osaka University School of Medicine, where he worked on bacteriophage research. He holds a Ph.D. from Gifu University, Japan.
