Pre-Conference Workshop

Organizing Legionella Outbreak Investigations
Tuesday, September 10 | 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Hosted by NEHA and NSF International experts, this workshop will provide an introduction to water systems commonly associated with Legionnaires’ disease, how to identify these systems, common sampling points/strategies for these systems, background on environmental factors that amplify Legionella and common control strategies. It concludes with a tabletop exercise for how to organize a Legionella investigation.

All attendees must register for this workshop in addition to the basic conference registration.
