Christopher Boyd

Christopher Boyd has over 20 years’ experience in building water health, including working for the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene in New York City, where he led the agency’s response to the largest Legionella outbreak in New York City history. He also reorganized the response to building and environmental outbreaks and oversaw implementation of the first Legionella controlling regulatory standards in cooling towers. As Assistant Commissioner of Environmental Sciences and Engineering in NYC, Boyd was responsible for regulatory oversight of the city’s municipal water system.
